REA Wood Heat Conference 2024
23 September 2024
The Association for Renewable Energy and Clean Technology (REA) are hosting their annual Wood Heat Conference – Wood Heat 2024 – on 16–17 October this year. Wood Heat 2024 is taking place at The Delta Nottingham Belfry following a period of change across the UK, and this year’s conference will look at what the future holds for the biomass heat industry.
Explore what the new Labour government means for the sector at Wood Heat 2024 and understand how REA’s Wood Heat Forum is currently engaging with policymakers, shedding light on how the changes in administration may affect the industry in the future.
Following the success of Wood Heat 2023, this year’s agenda has a particular focus on how the industry is tackling its biggest growth challenges, including misinformation surrounding sustainability and the UK’s air quality. This year’s agenda also includes highlights from the past year and success stories in the sector, fueling conversations about how the sector can grow.
The ‘Biomass Installation Spotlight’ sessions being held at this year’s conference feature new, innovative opportunities on how the wood heat sector can bolster its growth and impactful lessons on what the sector can do to tackle recent challenges. These sessions give in-depth explanations of the best examples of biomass heat across the UK.
