Woodsure will be exhibiting at APF 2018 which takes place on the Ragley Hall Estate from Thursday 20th through until Saturday 22nd September. The APF Exhibition is the UK’s largest forestry, woodland, arboriculture, fencing and biomass show.
The show caters not just for the forestry, woodland and tree care industries but also fencing and is of significant interest to the farming industry with lot of machines and equipment designed for small woodlands and for adding value to small parcels of timber and individual trees. Producing and utilising timber as woodfuel whether as firewood or woodchips is also strongly featured as are biomass boilers.
Woodsure can be found in the ‘Static Area‘ of the exhibition, stand E5B (labelled HETAS). Come and meet the Woodsure team and find out about the range of services available through Woodsure. We will also be taking applications on the increasingly popular Ready to Burn scheme and asking visitors to sign the Ready to Burn pledge board.
Who will be there?
APF 2018 has over 320 exhibitiors, alongside Woodsure, other industry exhibitors include Certainly Wood (F6A), Confor (A5), Ecco Stove/Landy Vent( G9), Forestry Commission (A4), SDL Solutions (1740-1780 in) and The Small Woods Association (CRAFT).
With wood burning stoves in the news of late and a Defra consultation on domestic burning currently in place, Confor will be hosting a seminar at the exhibition on Friday 21st September from 10:30am. The seminar will outline the consultation and the proposals it makes. A number of firewood suppliers will be talking about how changes might impact their business and what measures they are currently undertaking. Amanda and Helen from Woodsure will be on hand to discuss the Woodsure Ready to Burn scheme and there will be time for a short Q&A session.
