Serena Sumner

Serena joined HETAS in 2014 as Business Development Manager having worked in recruitment, sales and business development roles within the media industry, including a decade at the Independent News and Media Group. Now our Head of Service Delivery, Serena uses her knowledge and expertise in growing and developing brands to lead marketing, PR, sales and business development activities for both HETAS and Woodsure.

Together with her team, Serena works to raise awareness of the safe and environmentally-responsible use of wood, biomass and other solid fuels. She is a strong advocate of making sustainable choices, believing that if everyone made a change – such as burning dry wood – it could make a big difference to the environment and the air we breathe.
