Woodfuel Standards
What standards are there?
European Standards (abbreviated EN, from the German name Europäische Norm (European Norm)) are technical standards which have been ratified by one of the three European standards organisations: European Committee for Standardization (CEN), European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (CENELEC), or European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI). All ENs are designed and created by all interested parties through a transparent, open, and consensual process.
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is an international standard-setting body composed of representatives from various national standards organizations
An ÖNORM standard is a national standard published by the Austrian Standards Institute.
British Standards (BS) are the standards produced by the BSI Group which is incorporated under a royal charter and which is formally designated as the national standards body (NSB) for the UK.
