There have been several woodfuel standards used in the UK biomass industry for the provision of wood fuel. Such fuels underpin the work we undertake at Woodsure and from the basis by which we provide certification or assurance for suppliers.

EN Standards

European Standards (abbreviated EN, from the German name Europäische Norm (European Norm)) are technical standards which have been ratified by one of the three European standards organisations: European Committee for Standardization (CEN), European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (CENELEC), or European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI). All ENs are designed and created by all interested parties through a transparent, open, and consensual process.

BS Standards
